About Troop 39
Troop 39 is an active troop in the Maltby, WA area. Our Troop is chartered by the Maltby Community Club located at 8711 206th St SE, Snohomish, WA - just 6 blocks north of the Maltby Cafe.
We meet each Tuesday night from 7pm to 8pm.
Our Troop is a Scout led Troop. The Patrol Leaders Council meets once per month to plan and schedule all Scout outings. The Scoutmaster and Assistant Scoutmasters encourage and help the boys develop their individual community leadership skills.
Troop 39 attends Boy Scout Summer Camps each summer, including camps in Washington (Camp Fire Mountain, Camp Pigott, Camp Parsons, Camp Fife), Oregon (Camp Meriweather, Camp Makualla), Idaho (Camp Easton) and in 2017 we visited Camp Pupukea on the Island of Oahu! In 2019 we will revisit one of our favorite camps - Camp Easton! Our older scouts have attended NOAC, High Adventure Camps such as Philmont and SeaBase and have attended National Jamboree.
Camping is a focus of Troop 39, including our annual Snow Camping Expeditions.
We participate in several fundraisers each year, including our Annual Christmas Tree Recycling, Annual Pancake Breakfast, Scrap Metal Recycling, Textile Drives and Popcorn Sales.
Troop 39 also supports our community by lending a helping hand to the Maltby Community Club and Maltby Food Bank.
